The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of mission-critical, cloudbased software systems. You will work directly with software engineers and product managers in US, through all phases of the software development process to provide feedback on functionality, reliability, usability, and efficiency of the software. You will evaluate current processes and implement improvements that will result in increased quality.
Can quickly learn our products inside and out, understand user flows, and partner’s product for edge cases.
Can collaborate well. Communication is key in this position. You will be working closely with other departments on a regular basis to ensure we continuously improve our ability to ship high-caliber solutions to our customers.
Develop and execute test plans.
Perform exploratory testing.
Troubleshoot issues to find root causes and suggest potential fixes.
Learn the ClientTrack application and become familiar with health and human services to better understand the workflows and represent users in the development process.
Participate in design meetings to provide input and feedback.
Able to be a mentor and technical leader to the members of your team and guide their professional development via coaching.
Are great at breaking things. You’ll use your detail-oriented QA brain to ensure that you and your team are catching as many issues as possible before release.
Required-skills & Experience:
Strong troubleshooting & analyzing.
3+ years’ experience as a software tester
Experience testing web-based software, with understanding of web-based software architecture.
Understanding of user experience principles and processes.
Test plan development and execution.
Basic knowledge of SQL.
Basic understanding of automated testing techniques, tools, and benefits.
Ability and experience working collaboratively and respectfully with colleagues in an agile environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
